SurePress Compression Bandage System consists of two layers: the SurePress High Compression Bandage and the SurePress Absorbent Padding. This two-piece system is specifically designed for providing graduated compression. The SurePress High Compression Bandage is a comfortable, elasticized, washable bandage consisting of cotton/viscose, nylon and Lycra with a yellow center line and two rectangular extension indicators for different size limbs. The components are of the highest quality to produce the accurate compression with just two layers, time after time, even after washing and rewrapping. The SurePress Absorbent Padding is a soft, nonwoven, absorbent padding composed of a blend of viscose/bicomponent and super-absorbent fibers. The SurePress High Compression Bandage serves three important purposes: dressing retention, support, and compression. The quality construction and indicator system are designed to increase consistency of the proper graduated compression to aid venous return. The SurePress High Compression Bandage has been carefully designed and tested to accurately produce high compression (34-46 mm Hg at the ankle) over a variety of leg sizes. The two rectangular extension indicators become squares when the appropriate extension is reached. Made of an improved form of elastic wrap, the SurePress High Compression Bandage substantially minimizes the possibility of inaccurate wrapping over a primary wound dressing. The SurePress Absorbent Padding minimizes exudate strike-through and reduces risk of maceration.
