Coloplast® Biatain® Soft Alginate Dressing with Silver is a fiber-free alginate offering superior strength and absorption. The silver ions released in the presence of wound exudates are an effective antimicrobial agent acting against a broad spectrum of microorganisms frequently associated with the bacterial colonization and infection of wounds. Odor reduction results from the antibacterial effect in the dressing.
