Product Description

All Allevyn* dressings have a tri-laminate structure: a waterproof and bacteria-proof top of pink, polyurethane film, a soft hydrocellular pad of hydrophilic, cross-linked polyether polyurethane foam and a wound contact layer of perforated polyurethane film. The Allevyn Tracheostomy dressing combines the benefits of Allevyn with a key-hole aperture which allows the dressing to fit neatly around a tracheostomy tube or other drain or stoma. The breathable OpSite* Film forms the outer surface of the Allevyn Tracheostomy dressing, preventing leakage of secretions through the front of the dressing, providing an easy clean surface and acting as a barrier to liquids.
