Maxorb Extra AG (Silver) Calcium Alginate Dressing is a highly absorbent, non woven dressing ideal for moderate to heavily draining wounds

  • Composed of a high G (guluronic acid) calcium alginate, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and ionic silver
  • Silver ions protect from a broad spectrum of microorganisms, including MRSA and VRE
  • Controlled-release ionic silver does not damage healthy tissue
  • Non-irritating, non-sensitizing and will not harm new granulation tissue
  • Up to 21-day antimicrobial protection
